Rubatuba is an accordion-tuba duo who perform a variety of traditional music styles with their origins connected to dance, including Klesmer/Balkan, Gypsy, French, Italian, Celtic, Latin. Based on the Sunshine Coast, they love roving the streets of the world.
Rubatuba’s performance is lively, fun and visual, and they have played at many festivals, including the Festuri Multicultural Music Dance Festival, Morton Bay Multicultural Festival, Redland Spring Festival, the Maleny Music and Real Food Festivals, and the Maleny Wood Expo, Toowoomba Garden Fest and the Carnival of Flowers.
Besides festivals, they have played with Brisbane City Sounds, at various markets, including Montville Produce, Caloundra Twilight and Street Market, Cotton Tree Market, Crystal Waters Markets, Eumundi Markets, and other special events.
